Job Description

Pride Health is hiring Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to support our client's healthcare facility in Olympia, Washington.


Job Details:
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Location: Olympia, WA
Float / Coverage Area: Up to a 50-mile radius from Olympia, WA
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possibility of extension
Pay Range: $52.00 to $53.00/hour*
Mileage Reimbursement Rate : $0.51 / mile
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.


Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments in patient homes to identify functional limitations and establish treatment goals.
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions focused on improving independence with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, safety, and overall quality of life.
  • Complete patient recertifications, reassessments, and discharge evaluations while ensuring compliance with agency, regulatory, and payer requirements.
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and timely within Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and the electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • License(s): Active Washington State Occupational Therapist License
  • Certification(s): Current BLS Certification (preferred)
  • Years of experience: Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience preferred
  • Skills/Specialties/Technology: Home Health Occupational Therapy, HCHB, Patient Assessments, Recertifications & Discharge Planning, Functional Mobility & ADL Training, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Care Coordination, Documentation Compliance, Strong Communication & Time Management Skills
